HS: TeamSnap Girls All-America update

Today, TopDrawerSoccer releases the first 150 girls soccer players for the Spring TeamSnap All-America Watch List. By next Friday, an additional 50 players will be added, and throughout the spring season players will be added each week.
This inaugural list starts with the projected returning players who made the TopDrawerSoccer State All-Stars last school year along with any other known NCAA Division I-bound players competing this spring.
Players, through coaches recommendations and TopDrawerSoccer staff observations, will be added each week to the list as performances warrant. The only players that will be removed from the list will be athletes who are no longer playing high school soccer or sustain a season-ending injury that will take them out of all-state consideration.
More than 500 fall- and winter-playing high school girls players made the cut for the Fall TeamSnap All-America Watch List and Winter TeamSnap All-America Watch List.

Here are five standout players to kick off the spring season, including four who were TeamSnap first-team All-America selections last spring:
GIRLS
* F Parker Goins, Tulsa Union (Tulsa, Okla.), Sr.: Goins, a U,S, Under-18 National Team member, missed part of the 2016 high school season with national team commitments, but returned to lead Tulsa Union to a 19-0 season and a second straight SIMA FAB 50 final No. 1 ranking. The Arkansas signee had two goals and one assist in a state final victory over Owasso.
* D/MF Claire Griffiths, Millbrook (Raleigh, N.C.), Sr.: Griffiths was a Raleigh News-Observer first-team selection and the North Carolina High School Soccer Coaches Association state player of the year. A defensive midfielder, Griffiths, who has signed with Florida State, had nine goals and nine assists.
* F Hallie Klanke, St. Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, Kan.), So.: The North Carolina commit had 13 goals and 14 assists last season, helping St. Thomas Aquinas to a state title. Nine of her goals were game-winners.
* F Ashlynn Serepca, Hough (Cornelius, N.C.), Jr.: Serepca was named the Charlotte Observer Player of the Year after scoring a school-record 33 goals and dishing out 14 assists. The Virginia commit is a member of the U.S. Under-16 National Team player pool.
* GK Hannah Warner, Owasso (Okla.), Sr.: Owasso started and ended the season with losses to SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 Tulsa Union. In between, the team rolled off 17 straight victories, led by Warner's performance in goal. The Oklahoma State commit, a second-team All-America selection last year, had 15 shutouts during the 17-match win streak and allowed only two goals.
NOTE: The fall All-America watch list includes only players from high school teams that compete during the fall season. The Winter All-America watch list was released in November and includes players from the seven winter-playing states, and the Spring All-America watch was released in February.
